Policies and AgreementsHours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8:30-4:30 * There is a 15 minute grace period for drop off each morning to allow you time to arrive timely to your daily destinations. The school day ends at 4pm, children must be picked up between 4 and 4:30. We provide a program for children ages 3-6(preschool-kindergarten). New children must be 3 or toilet trained by the first day of attendance with the exception of children with delays that have an individualized plan. Philosophy of Inclusion: Epiphany is a truly INCLUSIVE community. We are a non-denominational and diverse community. We value, respect and welcome students of all abilities, from every type of family, of every socio-economic status and from the myriad of religious and family backgrounds. We foster this respect though all that we do and expect that all students and families who join our program to do the same. Tuition Payment each month is required on the first day of the month that the program is in session. A $10 late fee will be charged for each day payment is past this date. Prompt payment guarantees your child’s spot in our program. Illness: For the safety of all of us in the Epiphany Community, we ask you to keep any sick children home. Your child must be kept home if exhibiting any of the following symptoms:
If your child is diagnosed with an illness and given antibiotics, please keep them home for the first 24 hours of treatment so they will no longer be contagious. In the case of serious or ongoing illness a doctor’s note stating that your child is well enough to attend the program may be required. If your child becomes ill while in care, we will do our best to keep them comfortable until an appropriate party is able to pick them up. | Tuition
Includes: *Two organic whole-food snacks each day (please let us know if your child has food sensitivities and we will do our best to accommodate their needs) * An individual plan for your child's education and care * A certified, Master's level educator with specialization in early childhood development and education.
Tuition may be paid monthly, by session, or all at once. Our school year is split into Fall and Spring session. When you register your child you are saving their spot for the entire year and tuition will be figured out by the year. There is a non refundable $100 registration fee at the beginning of every year. We use a formula to average your monthly tuition over the year/session. You will pay the same amount every month if you chose to pay monthly. We are open 44 weeks out of the year, 32 hours/week (please see our calendar for a detailed schedule). Tuition formula: Yearly: Weekly tuition X 44 weeks in our school year)/ 11 months (our school year) ** We are open all FUSD snow days and go through the end of June*** ***Because we have limited spaces and must hold your child’s spot during an absence, we charge a normal daily fee for absences and listed holidays. Volunteer Hours: We humbly request that families volunteer 10 hours each year to help us foster the connection between the home and school community for your child. Volunteer opportunities will be posted monthly in the Welcome entrance area. Some ways to volunteer: -Cut out pictures for collages/art activities -Teach a group activity to our students -Join us on an Investigation -Help with the garden/animals -Help with a fundraiser -Help with the newsletter -Connect us with a community member for an outing -Acquire in-kind donations for our silent auction |
